Brckt has officially left beta. Plus, Indian Wells is here!

It’s actually crazy we are only one month off of the end of the Australian Open. A lot has gone down since then but I’d argue the biggest thing is that Brckt has lost the “Beta” text next to it. Brckt is ready to be unleashed.

With the increased confidence in stability comes a lot of new exciting updates that have been introduced:

  1. Dark/Light mode

    • This one will be quite obvious when you first get on the site. Choose whichever you like more, dealer’s choice!

  2. Live & Completed Match Stats

    • The match details modal has been improved and with it you can now view real-time match stats during, and after a match.

  3. Prediction Market & Betting Odds

    • Alongside the match stats you can track the odds of a match before and during. Track who is the favorite or underdog and see how trends change throughout the match.

  4. Integration of social media “X”

    • On your user profile page you can connect your X account, follow the @brckt_io X account, and earn 100 points in the process. This is the beginning to more fun social experiences to be introduced.

  5. Fibonacci scoring

    • I wrote a post about this decision in a blog post here. Fibonacci is cool and will make our bracket challenges even more fun.

  6. Private group email invite customization

    • Now admins of private groups can send customized emails to invite their friends to join their group and send invites to 50 people individually with one click.

  7. Explore page live tournament updates

    • Now right from the explore page you can easily view live, upcoming, and completed matches that will then link you to a spot to get more information if you wish. You will also notice that live scoring is much more snappy in general now.

  8. Tournament chatter

    • On the /tournaments page, when viewing a specific tournament you will now see a chat icon. Here you can get a pulse on what’s going on for the tournament.
